I purchased this book for my 11 year old daughter who experiences anxiety and panic attacks. It explains anxiety, helps describe some of the feelings she is having, and why, as well as coping techniques. I love that she is able to write down in this book like a journal as well. We read a section together and then she will write her response to the prompts, and then we can go over her prompts together. It has been very helpful.

As a child and family therapist, I am always looking for workbooks to recommend to my teen clients. This particular workbook has a great format, and my clients have particularly enjoyed the comments in the workbook from other teens. Definitely a good resource for teens struggling with anxiety.

This book has a lot of fantastic material and self-help activities. It isnโt just for teenagers. Anyone can use this. And it doesnโt read like a college course, itโs very easy to do and gives you lots of problems to work through and find what helps you.

I bought this for my 14 years old son who recently has been dealing with mild anxiety and had his first anxiety attack before a band competition. He and I have a trusting relationship, so when I offered we read this together, he was open to it. We were a little intimidated at first by the thickness of the book, but when we began to read through it, we knew it was worth it. It has been so helpful for him to be able to understand what anxiety is, why he may be struggling with it, and to have ways to cope with it. I would definitely recommend this book.

I am giving it five stars though my 13 year old daughter has not yet used this book. But we read the first chapter together and she seemed very interested and begin to flip through the book on her own afterwards, which I consider a very positive sign. I thought the first chapter was relatable, well written, and engaging. It did not seem intimidating at all and it struck me that it reaches its target audience, mainly teenagers, very effectively.

Has helped my teenager who was recently diagnosed its anxiety. Has recommended techniques and scenarios to work through. His therapist looked it over and gave his approval!

Great book, but try getting a teenager struggling with depression or anxiety to even read past the first page! Great book for me, as a parent to help myself and better be able to help & guide my child through the muddy waters of teenager-hood. My 14 year old laughed and said, yeah ok…..like I’m going to spend my time focusing more on my depression & anxiety. Might work for some. Any young adult or adult can benefit from it.

This book is a great tool to help teens and adolescents who struggle with anxiety. As a teacher, I have seen anxiety becoming more prevalent among students in the classroom. This is a valuable resource for parents and kids who are struggling with these issues.

This book as good tools to use not just for teens. I use it in a school nurse environment! Recommend for parents to use of they have teens.
