I really like this product, I also purchased the oil, I use the seeds in cooking, I really think it along with the oil has helped a lot with my pain in my legs, feet and hands. I would recommend this to all, just remember that in order to get the benefits from the seeds you have to sauté it down then you can eat it, mix with your food, add it to smoothies. I make my own body creams and soaps so I use it in all of them.

Very strong taste that seems somewhat like oregano, ( maybe turpentine?) but it grows on you. I put in a pepper grinder and use on my eggs, in salads, wherever I can. I bought it because people who are fighting cancer are recommending the oil as helpful. I wanted to know how the oil should taste because reviewers were saying it tastes like turpentine and were sending it back as not the real thing. So I wanted to find out for myself by buying the genuine seeds to taste them since I don’t think dishonest sellers would be likely to sell fake seeds. I can believe it now, that the oil has a rather unpleasant strong taste.

I was having a bout of diverticulitis when my seeds arrived. I thought “why not try them for this?” It couldn’t hurt,, right? Usually these bouts last a sold week. We’ll, i toasted the seeds, put them on my food and I’m amazed! I have had very little PAIN and am able to function normally. This is truly amazing,,

I like the fact that the seeds are organic. I bought these for my dogs as an added supplement to their diet. I heat them for about 10 minutes in the oven at 350* (I read that if they’re heated, it takes the bitterness out) and mix them in their dry food along with some turmeric with a little warm water and they don’t even notice. I actually think it is helping one of my dogs that has had a respiratory and sinus infection for a while now that two rounds of antibiotics and steroids from the vet hasn’t been able to get rid of. I will definitely continue to use. Thank you

If you looked up these seeds then you know of the historical hype associated with them. I’m not going to dive into the health benefits, but rather warn you of the potent smell and taste of these. I followed the advice of others online and heated them up in a skillet before using any. My first attempt at using them was just a spoonful with honey. It was awful. I mean….AWFUL. The taste stuck in my throat for hours. Since I make smoothies every morning, I grind up a spoonful with my chia and flax seeds and it’s not nearly as bad, but don’t let that fool you…the smell and the taste is still extremely strong in my 16 oz smoothie, which I typically put water, protein powder, an emergen c packet, and whatever fruits I have…typically blueberries, strawberries or a banana. Nevertheless, the taste and smell is something you get used to and it’s not that bad. Don’t let it scare you off initially. I have high blood pressure and some inflammation/injury in my back and I believe that these seeds are helping.UPDATE 9/23/2016 – I’ve been using this in my smoothie every morning (except the days when I am running late, and of course lazy weekend days lol) and I can say that my BP is down about 10 points as of late and I have less inflammation than in the past. I also have not gotten sick in quite some time. The only issue that I still have from time to time is sinus headaches, so while this may not actually be a literal “cure all”, it’s proven to be quite beneficial.

This is the first time I have bought/tried this product (black cumin seed) so I can’t compare it to others. However, it seems fresh and is tasty. I have been sprinkling some on my salads, rice, etc and the taste is not overwhelming. I purchased for nutritional value.

This product is truly organic and exactly what I need! I love the fact that the seeds are much more palatable to consume than the actual oil. Please don’t misunderstand: The somewhat unpleasant flavor is still there (it’s inherent to black seed oil), but it is much, much milder than the concentrated oil. I do make a point to grind these seeds in my Nutribullet, and this ensures that the phytic acid from the seeds is broken down. And that means that all the nutrition is bioavailable to my body. So, after grinding these seeds, I combine them with freshly-ground organic flax seeds, add them to water, and drink the concoction every day. These tiny little seeds are really helping my gut heal.I’m so VERY HAPPY that I found them! They are Non-GMO and high quality, and I will DEFINITELY be ordering them again.

I wasn’t sure how to use these as far as cooking applications, and since I do enjoy sprinkling various seeds on my dishes, I did the same with these. … The strong, bright, slightly bitter taste just doesn’t seem to harmonize with the food on my plate. Each little seed that gets munched stands out brightly amongst the overall flavors of whatever I’m eating–but not in a harmonious way. I’m not sure where I can use these (smoothies, cereal topper, flavoring, other cooking) where the tiny bits of intense taste won’t be so pronounced. I KNOW they’re very healthy…. :-/

These nigella seeds were recommended by the website Healing Histamine, which has all sorts of good advice for people with histamine intolerance. I had never eaten them before, so I didn’t know if I would like the taste. I do! They are delicious. And soft enough that I can use them without grinding them if I want. I like the way they look sprinkled on food. It’s too soon to say if I have received any health benefits, but they are supposed to be good for allergies, osteoporosis and flatulence among other things

I have been wanting to try Black Cumin for a while now due to its good taste and health benefits, the product arrived and was well above my expectations, it is packed and sealed very well, we opened it up and it has a fresh aroma, I ground it up for a spice and I also put it in my health shakes. You will not go wrong, I do not write many reviews but I had to for this product!!!
