Very nice tambourine, especially for the price. The overtones that the head give off give it a really nice sound. Built well, I experimented with sound by hitting the head with drum sticks, and it still looks like it’s fresh out of the box. Currently using it in my percussion setup and would absolutely recommend it.

I bought two tambourines from Percussion Musical. We bought them for a musical class my mother in law in taking in assisted living. Perfect. Very well made, cost effective, excellent sound which as you can imagine was our first priority. We received them earlier than projected. The band is coming along well with the tonal assist of the tambourines. The only problem we have is that everyone else wants to play them.I may have more in my future if we broaden the percussion section!

So I bought this originally for my 9 month old to shake and drum on, and it turns out my 4 year old has taken to it as well. I’ve has this for a week and it’s stood up to a ton of abuse from my kids. They just shake and bang away on this daily.It’s lightweight, the metal jingles… jingles easily and the drum is just that, a drum.It’s got a hole on the side where you can loop your fingers through, or tie a ribbon to attach the tambourine to something.It’s great.
