These are very nice, well-made, each carved out of a single piece of wood. The ones that had varnish on them, smelled of the varnish/wood stain when they arrived, but after a day or three airing out they got better. A couple of months down the road, and I can’t pick up any residual smell off them, even if I hold one right under my nose. The sound they make is very nice and resonant. The middle one sounds almost exactly like the frog that lives in our yard, and I was able to have a “singing competition” with him, trying to mimic his calls as best I could with the guiro. I let the real frog win, of course 🙂

Cute little trio. Each has its own pitch. Fun making them chirp. Was hesitant after reading so many complaints about odor. A whiff of whatever product was used on the 2 larger ones quickly dissapated upon taking them out of the plastic wrap. They look cute o a shelf too!

Like most really fun things, no particular use. But very inexpensive, decorative, and certainly fun especially for children, or silly grown up like me that likes to pretend there’s a frog in the house!

Looks like frogs, sounds like frogs. Kids lik to try to talk to the frog in the pond… who knew. Three sizes of hands and frogs everything was perfect.

Love these and the grandbabies had fun with them too. It was fun to hear the different tones that eminate from each of them. Can’t beat the price considering what you get. Yes, there is a wood polish smell to them (noticed that was a ding in one of the lower ratings) but its not that big of a deal. Easy to overcome. Don’t put them in your mouth and wash your hands after using them.

These were a fantastic addition to my “sound temple”Perfect for all ages and curiosities! Can be aesthetic or function as a percussion device! 3 Different pitches (sizes) so really the options are endless if you’re creative enough (or see the colors of the wind! ;-))Best under $20 purchase I’ve ever made. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase! As a gift or for personal use! Great conversation starter!5 stars on everything but only 4 on quality because the smallest one came with a crack (doesn’t impact the sound quality at all just not meeting a 5 star rating because there was a tiny flaw in the Craftsmanship which might bother some)

I use these as decor in my living room. We also use them to make sounds of nature with our rain stick and thunder stick. Our grandchildren love them. Well worth the price.

I am a collector of obscure little musical instruments and these cute little guys were a great addition. My children really enjoyed them and they do make a nice clear croaking sound. Very worth the $12. That’s only $4 a frog.
