We love this axe. After a few uses the screws came undone and it fell out. We tried contacting them about getting new screws but never heard anything back, probably because it was outside the 30 day warranty. We ended up buying another one and it had the same problem. We couldn’t find the screws at a local harware store either. I would suggest putting lock tite in the screws before using it.

Axe came sharp as hell. Also, well built. I’m not a stickler for tools, but I was sure it took 2 months to ship from China. But, that’s due to not having a prime option available. Buuuut, tested it out and performed as expected. Now it a part of my BOB/Camping bag. Man, this thing is awesome.

Very nice well made nice balance for throwing. Full tang. My issue is with comfort although may not be bad for most I have large hands under heavy use it hurts my palm. I just wrapped handle with paracord. All in all I would recommend this product and will be purchasing a few more just for throwing hatchets.Update. As others have said the screw on the hammer come loose lock-tight may help but on mine the Allen nut .15mm to long so tightening doesn’t make a difference. Either shim it with tape or carefully file the excess off the nut so the bolts can fully tighten. i have owned many hawks in all price ranges and by far this is my favorite well made some heft to it plus when you throw it and are a half roto off the pry bar end will stick in.

PROS: very sharp and stays sharp, handle swings great (other reviewer doesn’t understand hatchets I guess), handle is comfortable, hammer feature is very useful as well as the pry bar. I pack this on my small go bag if that tells you anything. CONS: after about 4 days of use the hammer allen key bolts loosened (I recommend loc-tighting all allen key bolts).
