This is such a cute flute. Was great for my 5th grade daughter who was in beginning band. The case was sturdy and even after a season of band there is lots of life left in this flute!!

This is my 4th grader’s first year to play the flute and buying a flute through Amazon was actually cheaper than renting it through our local music store. The blue is a beautiful color; she gets lots of compliments and all the accessories were a nice bonus. Sounds beautiful and perfect for a beginner. Highly recommend.

So this flute comes new. I gotta say it’s a very sound one and is a very nice quality. Great for beginners like me.

Wanted to get back to playing after many years and discovered my old flute would be expensive to rebuild. I couldn’t believe I could get a new flute, blue to boot, for this price. I was skeptical, but I swear this is better than the flute I had in high school. I play a little every day and it still looks like new. I appreciate the case and the cleaning/tuning rod and cloth that came with it.

I bought this for my daughter who is a 6th grade beginning band student. We rented a Gemeinhardt from a local music store to see if she would like the flute and be able to play it before purchasing her own. I bought this one based on the great price and solid reviews and I must say that I’m very happy with this purchase. My daughter loves it and it sounds great. To my untrained ear, it sounds exactly like the Gemeinhardt in tone and clarity. It came with absolutely everything a beginner would need. One word of warning for band parents though. We bought the Sea Blue flute and it is beautiful but we did so without asking the band teacher and she doesn’t allow colored instruments. No biggie though. At this price, I can buy the silver one too for performances and I will still have only paid a fraction of the price of a “name brand” flute. My daughter has played it almost everyday with no problems so far. Only time will tell if it holds up over the duration of the year and beyond.

This flute is an amazing value. We bought this for our 10 year old who has never played the flute before. It plays just as well as the $2,000 flute her school recommended. It is cheaper to buy one of these flutes than to have another flute serviced! Why terrify your child with the responsibility of taking care of a $2,000 instrument. That seems like too much responsibility to put on a young child. If you are thinking of buying this flute for anyone under 18 – do it. You can’t go wrong! We love the way it sounds and so does her instructor!

I’m really impressed by the look and especially the sound of this flute! It’s my first concert flute and I had low expectations because of the price— all blown away. The care that went into the preparation for shipping (all of the keys were locked down for instance) reflects well on the quality of this instrument, but everything else pales compared to the ease with which I got such a satisfying beautiful tone — I’m in love with this instrument.

So far so good! Even though my daughter’s arrogant music teacher said otherwise. It compared great with the other flutes that were rented, or even the more “expensive” flutes that were played in her Spring Concert at school. My daughter stood out with her pretty blue flute and she sounded great! No complaints here. Would definitely recommend.
