I gave three of these away to trained medical volunteers at a protest when it started raining. They thanked me profusely. I kept one for myself, and I remained outside in quite heavy rain for about six hours thanks to this thing. Don’t think you can easily reuse them. They’re not designed for that and the orange paint was sticking to itself the next morning. It just didn’t look like it was in good shape for another outing. But until I took it off it was fine and never developed any tears, even though I had a backpack on over it. It was perfect.

Took this on a very rainy and cold camping trip and loved it!!! I am a small person and get cold super easy and this blanket kept me warm! I also love how compact these blankets are! Full coverage and light weight very perfect for back up bags and very perfect for emergencies. I live near Mount Rainier and of course in this area we have rain I swear seven months out of the year if not more. And everybody keeps saying we are ready for Mount Rainier to blow or an earthquake. But that doesn’t cause me to buy this. In case I’m stuck in my car somewhere I need some thing that will not only be full coverage But warm too I love it

Went and tried one out as soon as I got it, I tested it outside which is freezing temperatures, and it definitely works great, you can feel the heat being retained within the emergency poncho, it wasn’t raining out but my guess is it will work just fine, with it blocking the wind and cold!Keeping one in my car!

I didn’t expect this to be such a compact item, but it is about the size of a smart phone. Fits easily in the glovebox. And the material is not the cheap, crinkly stuff you would expect, but a light, durable poncho. I plan to order more, so I can keep two in every vehicle I drive. It is also wonderful for attending outdoor sports and other events when the weather turns colder. It is very warm and comfortable. A+!

I bought this for emergencies. I haven’t had to use it for an actual emergency. I like all the features. I’ve put one in each of my car emergency kits and keep one in my multi-day hiking bag. They are certainly light weight. I think mylar ponchos are the perfect thing for a crisis situation where you need protection from the elements because there’s no wrestling around like there is with blanket, just instant shelter. This uses thick mylar (relative to its competitors) and affords you the option of wearing it orange-side-in when you just need to escape the rain. I’m happy with this purchase.

Got these emergency ponchos yesterday and they are great! I Took one out and tried it on and they are well made with thick material, unlike the other thin mylar blankets I have used in the past. The individual bag size is smaller than my phone would definitely recommend these over regular mylar emergency blankets. I am ordering more for gifts and to put in both vehicles.

I received my Poncho today and I was so surprised. The box contains 3 ponchos in it and they are so light and when I tried it on it was not hot and stuffy. This will be good for football and baseball games. this is jut what we needed for the kids games when the weather turns bad. I will be passing this along to all the team Moms and Dads. Rarely rains in California but some days it wants to make up for the past few years! So it’s nice to have an emergency rain ponchos in your desk, car or travel bag. Light weight but tougher then those $.99 space blankets. Bright orange on one side, great for signaling or getting drivers to see you on the road. Used mine as a tarp, for shade under a bright sun during church event. You may never refold it back in its bag but I just use a sandwich ziplock bag and placed it back in the car. Found a promotion on Instagram, bought this box and the company sent me two more boxes free!!

When I first opened my package from Amazon and saw the box for the ponchos I was a little concerned that I may have gotten a returned one. The box was bulging like it was overstuffed. I figured someone had opened one of the ponchos, decided they didn’t like them, and returned them but was unable to fold the poncho all the way back down as flat as it originally was.When I opened the box what I found though was that someone had put four ponchos in instead of three! I have to admit, the box is a little confusing. Brand is “Prepared 4x” so one could read that and think that maybe there should be 4x quantity ponchos in there. But the box also says right on it that it contains “3 Emergency Ponchos”. Well, obviously whoever packed my box was confused and I got a bonus fourth poncho for free. Yah for me! Your results may vary, of course. But this was a pleasant surprise for me.
