I’ve been looking for a good strumming acoustic to leave sitting around the house in alternate tunings and this guitar fits the bill perfectly! Out of the box the guitar was ready to play once it was tuned. I opted for the non-cutaway version and it has a really full tone (check out my video to hear a demo). I really love the satin/smooth feel of the sunburst finish and I personally think it’s a pretty guitar.There are a few minor imperfections with the finish (specifically the binding), but that’s to be expected from a guitar in this price range. There was also a strong glue-like smell when I opened up the package, but it was a hot day so it could have just been due to the heat while in transit. The fret edges were filed nicely – no edges hanging over to catch your fingers on. So far the action feels great and the tuning stability has seemed fine after leaving it sit for a few hours and picking it back up to play.The accessories that it comes with are actually pretty good quality – I’m especially liking the capo, it’s very sturdy. If you’re a beginner, this is a great package to get you started. If you’re like me and you want a cheap guitar to leave around the house, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed in the value!

This is a great beginner guitar. Mine was in fantastic shape too! Some guitars like this come with unfinished marks and scrapes and stuff. This one was in really great shape! Ordered this guitar as a Christmas gift for my daughter because she’s been asking for one the past few months. I thought to myself “she sure is going to be excited when she sees this on Christmas morning”. Unfortunately, this doesn’t come in your usual Amazon box…. it has the words ACOUSTIC GUITAR printed in large letters all over the box that was left on the porch.There goes that surprise

I have not played in 40 years; since high school. I saw a few acoustic guitar reviews and this looked to fit the bill for my wandering eye. Much has changed over the years and this was such a joy to pick up and hack around. I look forward to practicing with YouTube & GarageBand as my guide. The electronic tuner is completely new to me and a real added bonus. Nothing in this kit feels cheap. I sat down to pick a little song my brain remembered but my fingers just fumbled forgetting how to move. Sorry Neil; but its better to Rust then Burnout!

I bought this guitar as a beginner hoping to learn over the summer. So far, it’s been really easy to use – perfect for just starting out. The guitar is very well made and looks amazing. The color matches the picture and looks great. The craftsmanship is really pretty and overall good. It also comes with all the useful parts necessary. This includes a tuner, a capo, many guitar picks of varying thickness, something to clean the guitar with, and more. All of these parts worked great and were super helpful. Especially as a beginner, it was great to just be handed everything needed instead of having to research individually to figure out what I needed to buy. Super easy to play and use. The strings were great quality and even came with extra strings to use in case I break them. When strumming, the sound is really nice and full – I didn’t notice any difference between the sound on this guitar and other ones that professionals used on youtube. The feel of the wood is really smooth and feels great. If you’re a beginner then this is perfect to start out with.

My 10-year-old wanted to buy his dad guitar for his 40th birthday. He used to play back in his 20s but it’s been a long time. He wanted to pick it back up so he needed a beginners guitar. It’s beautiful and it’s good quality and it comes with all the fixings that you need. It was a good purchase

Guitar was GREAT for a learning/beginner guitar! The case was also really well matched for the package. Capo works great and the picks will do just fine for a bit, purchase more when ordering the guitar cause your gonna need then soon enough. This guitar went way far and above what I was expecting, but really don’t plan on doing anything besides learning chords and frets until you get some good strings to play anything for the sound. Bottom line….. Great for a Newbie or even a simple play around the campfire! *SUPER STARTER* This guitar package and a month of YOUSICIAN for $15 can’t be beat!

Pros: Really nice starter guitar. Appears to be very well made. Excellent value! They included a really neat string tone gizmogadget that really is useful for tuning! The addition of a very simple starter book would really cement a great deal!Cons: The shipping box was way too big for the guitar … surprised the guitar wasn’t damaged in shipping, but it was out of it’s own packing box. Addition of some shipping filler (air-filled pillows) would solve the problem.
