Hey waxers! USE THIS. This product changed my life. It’s not just for razor burn ladies and gentlemen – this cheapie little product will change your post-wax recovery life. The redness, the burning, the bumps, the ingrown hairs – GONE. Slap this on your underarms, legs, bikini area etc. when you get home post-appointment, and for the next few days. It’ll sting/burn a little but you’ll see redness reduced in as little as 20 min. I also put it on when the hairs start growing out again – cuts the ingrown awfulness immensely. Also works for shaving too. Use it on my legs to reduce razor burn and bumps. 100% recommend this to literally everyone at any point in a conversation as appropriate (or not…it just comes up when it comes up LOL).

I’ve been using this stuff for over 10 years. Occasionally I cheap out and try alternative products, and nothing comes close to this stuff. It is advertised for black guys but it doesn’t matter. I have very coarse and curly neck hair and get ingrown hairs like its my job. I can’t live without this stuff.

I have been looking forward to reviewing this for quite a while, and awaiting a time when I can express all of my thoughts to everyone.So I have had 3 large bumps on my neck for god knows how long. They never get any bigger or smaller, but they have always just been there. Clearly they were/are an effect of improper shaving at some point or another. No matter what I have tried, the size of those bumps has never gone down at all. I have been very self conscious about that for quite some time.I read a lot of good reviews for this product, and figured it could not hurt to give it a try. So here is my journey.I typically shave every other day, as I am not a fan of facial hair, especially on my neck. As I began using this product, I stretched it to every three days, and then again to every four days. I figured this would give my neck the longest opportunity to heal. All during this time, I continued to use this product, everyday, usually once in the morning, and once at night. I also used it every time after I shaved. And each time I shaved, I made sure to take extra special care on my neck, to ensure I would not regress or become worse.After a week of use, I did not notice too much of a change. Two weeks, slight change for the better, and this continued on gradually. I am now on four weeks, and it is a world of difference. I truly wish I had taken a before picture, so I could post before and after pictures. While not completely gone (just yet), those three bumps on my neck are remarkably smaller than they were when I started using this product. They are practically non-existent at this point. When I see myself in the mirror, I can tell they have definitely shrunk. When I blindly feel at my neck with my hand, I can barely feel the current largest bump, as it has almost completely disappeared.I cannot say enough good things about this product. If you suffer or have a similar issue, I strongly encourage you to give this product a try, and to have patience. You probably will not notice immediate results, but I can attest that it is worth the patience and effort.

I’m cursed with neck hair that curls back into my skin causing painful ingrown hair. I’ve spent 25 years trying to find ways to manage the problem and rid myself of the pain. I’ve tried dozens of prescription and OTC creams and topical solutions. And frankly none of them have had any real effect for me. Hydrocortisone doesn’t really work and it apparently can thin the top layer of your skin making it even more sensitive. I’ve tried prescription Elidel. I have purchased and tried nearly every commercial product available from the Grooming Lounge including expensive products from Kiehl’s, Jack Black, Anthony, Tend Skin, Seacret, Neutrogena, Art of Shaving, etc. You get the picture. I have a literal drawer full of expensive but totally I neffective ingrown hair lotions, potions, balms and solutions.So, I was highly skeptical that bump patrol would be any different. But I figured, hey, why not try it? So, I shaved one night a few years back, applied BP, and woke up the next morning without ingrown hair pain for the first time in 20 years.It was hard to believe that this new stuff could have worked that well. So, I pushed it a bit, and decided I would shave everyday for an entire week and use bump patrol to see if I would get the same results each day. Normally I would have been crying by the second day from the irritation and pain, especially as my dress shirt rubbed against my neck throughout the day. And frankly I would be embarrassed by the unsightly red irritation and splotches all over my neck. But I used bump patrol once each morning and the irritation, redness and pain never returned.My sensitive skin does not allow me to shave my beard everyday. But I now confidently shave my neck every morning because of BP. I don’t know what’s so magical about this formula, but it’s been a blessing for me.And as I write this review, I’m staring at a trash bin full of expensive creams that never came close to living up to their claims.Thank you, bump patrol.

Boyfriend turned me into this. Suffered with painful razorbumps on legs & bikini line for over 20 years, tried everything. This 99% prevents bumps on legs and about 75% prevents on bikini line. Life changing. They only sell the 2oz bottles in stores. Thrilled that I can get two 4oz bottles on Amazon. Also, note for women, use mens razors. They further help prevent razor bumps.

I’ve battled folliculitis for at least 5 years with on and off flare ups and limited results. I’ve had dozens of rounds of antibiotics, antibiotic creams, and I’ve tried a dozen other creams including silver and Manuka honey with limited results. This stuff has done wonders for me. In about a week of using twice a day, I’ve cleared up just about all of my bumps using this. If, by chance, I forget to use this after shaving; I pay for it hours later with painful pimples that seem to start only hours later. Great product, wish I found it sooner!

Okay so this is going to get SUPER personal, so let’s just pretend you’ve already bought me dinner so we can skip to the good part.So I rarely ever get ingrown hairs when I shave, but the potential is always there, and recently, my luck was up. However, due to the ….delicate location of the bump, I was very nervous about putting just any cream or solution on it. Overnight, it had gone from a small red bump with a barely visible curled hair to a raging, enflamed, raised area that the problem hair was visible in, but hurt too badly to snip and remove.Enter this stuff. I put a little dab on and placed a Bandaid over it. 24 hours later, I removed the bandaid and not only was the blister entirely busted, but the little hair was curled right in the middle of the bandaid… completely detached from me!!! So now I’m using neosporin to heal it up and am SO grateful to this product for saving me some pain and suffering.

For the years I have been ordering Bump Patrol via Amazon, I guess this is not my first review. MY enthusiasm for this product has not changed, I still love it. PS I am not a fan of the extra strength formula.I first discovered Bump Patrol in an omnipresent retail store famous for stocking an item and then not carrying it. It is fantastic for sensitive skin after a shave under any conditions and especially if you are bothered by razor bumps. I first checked Amazon about 6-7 years ago because I could not get the product from the retailer anymore. This latest order was packed inside a leakproof bag which showed great attention to detail.

Potential jokes and innuendos aside, this works for my purposes. I haven’t tried using it everywhere but do use it for the more obvious parts that would result in red bumps after close shaves. I had one knick I barely noticed until this dripped onto it and agonizing, burning pain ensued. Eventually, the entire bump went away and smoothed out my skin in about 15-20 minutes. Unless you’re going full Brazilian wax (can you get red bumps from those?), this may be a handy tool for DIY close shaves.Thanks for reading.-SC
