I bought the 100W pump and this is really good for what it does and for the price(Amazon plays with the price very frequency and I ended up paying higher price!) This pump works really well pushing water 25ft long and about 5-7 ft high. The video is not doing the right justice to the amount of water it pushes since I have a larger spread . I should have bought the 120W pump instead for my use. Nice this is this is small enough to hide in the pond still the amount of water it pulls is really good. All this with zero noise.

I needed a much bigger pump for a now aeroponic project I was working on. Vivosun released this product around the same time so I got it. It’s ultra quiet for how much water it moves. Well built unit, affordably priced.

I needed a portable pump so I could fix the larger pond and waterfall. Great small size fish pond pump with lots of power. Moves water very well and aerates the water if tubing is placed at an upward tilt against a rock. Pump is very quiet I can’t speak to longevity issue as yet. I’ve had the pump for about a week. I purchased the mesh bag but I haven’t installed it. I don’t think it needs one since I’ve tucked it under the foot bridge and debris doesn’t usually get back there. Time will tell if the pump lasts well. For the price, a good product

UPDATE 6/27/21: Since I most recently purchased the same brand pump at a 4500gph, but it won’t let me review another gph pump, it will only let me update my review on the 1600gph pump: the 4500gph pump at 2 foot lift is pumping nowhere near 4500gph. Maybe 2000-2500gph. While that is an estimate, I compare it to the temporary 3800gph utility pump i put on the waterfall while waiting for this one to be delivered and the 4500gph is pumping out way less than the 3800gph pump did, so….I don’t think this pump is anywhere near the 4500gph it claims to be. I would need to double that size if it’s only really pumping half the gallons it says it does. Love the sturdiness of the pump and they have good longevity, but up the size if you want what you are looking for as far as output goes. This pump (1600gph) is so amazing I bought two! I use them in my koi ponds to pump water from the bottom of the pond up into a filtration system and out. This pump is tough and barely loses any gph when pumping at 5′ head. Highly recommend it. Ran without issues 24/7 since I bought it in the spring, though I did remove it for winter shutdown, of course. It’s pretty much maintenance free and easy to clean if needed (I never needed to) and it’s outflow nozzle is adjustable; which I like. You can take the cover off, but it takes some finesse to do so as you have to line up the pump just right to detach the plastic cover. No need to cut it like others have said, you just have to take your time and figure it out.My only suggestion is that they make the step attachment for the outflow bigger so it can accommodate large tubing if needed. Other than that, A+

The pump is about 3-4 feet down in the water and about 4-5 feet of a hose on it to circulate the water in the pond. I got to clean it about once a month, so far works just fine. The one that I had before was a 1200 GPH that worked in this pond for 10 years I’m hoping for the same for this one. I have 2 big Koi fish in it and they pretty happy.

I have always wanted a pond in my yard but was not willing to spend thousands of dollars for it. So, the COVID-19 quarentine gave me the the time and will to do it myself. My objective was to do it under $300 and I’m excited to have successfully accomplish that goal! This pump is perfect! It powers my fountain and my waterfall! The cord is very long. The suction feet are strong and the attachment was easy to find a fountain head to accommodate it. We just finished the install so I am very excited to see how our pond and landscape mature with time!

The pump works well, and is quiet. Strong flow out of my waterfall compared to my previous 1200 gph pump.I’m using it in a media bag to keep small fish from getting through the strainer, so far so good.My only quibble are the little rubber feet. They pull off when I pull up on the pump and stay stuck to the plastic bottom of my pond.

Koi/goldfish certainly love the string current provided by this pump. Easy to install. If you order the suggested mesh bag, I would see if there is one just a bit bigger. That way when you purchase (a MUST) filter foam to put at intake area it will fit in bag easier. If you purchase pump & just bag, you will most likely be cleaning debris from mesh bag/pump intake area as it will clog bag at intake area. A pain in the A. Since placing filter foam between mesh bag/pump intake area I haven’t had to clean daily & water current stays full strength.
