I won’t be drinking water from anything else for the rest of my whole life except water filtered in our Berkey. The clean chemical free taste-free water from our Berkey hands down even tastes better than Evian (which I LOVE). It arrived safely packaged, I followed the directions, and it was up and running within 20 minutes. We bought the travel Berkey and it works great for our family of two. We live in a city that’s city water has too much of something?chlorine. And probably a lot of other things we didn’t want to keep consuming. We’ve used Pur filters for almost 10 years and our water still tasted weird not to mention Pur filters lasted us approx. 25 days a piece. My husband didn’t entirely sign on with me spending a bit over $228 for our Berkey, but once he tasted the water he told me he’ll never be without one again. He is sold on it and uses it for anything and everything we use water in, plus he himself is now drinking approx. 50 oz. of water a day. Win-win! We ordered the stainless steel spigot right away because we were worried we would break the plastic one with our constant use. We love the sturdiness of the stainless steel spigot. Our Berkey is easy to clean, easy to use, and we’re never without it. We love our Berkey Travel and highly recommend it to everyone.

Highly recommend. We started a parasite cleanse after a friend did theirs. The realization that so much unknown is in our drinking water I did the research to find the best filtration system for our water. This is it! Told my doctor about it and he has this brand as well. No more bottled water. We have a 3 ft tall refrig for water bottles only. NO MORE. I have all stainless steel bottles that I fill and use my Lemon essential oil for YL in the bottles to help my pH. You can’t put that in plastic bottles. I purchased the travel size and it’s perfect for 2 people. I will never go with bottled water again unless I’m on the road without my Berkey water. Also many studies have proven that Bisphenol A, commonly referred to as BPA, can negatively impact fertility in both men and women and has also been linked to obesity. Don’t believe it? The science doesn’t lie: A 2011 Harvard study found that adults with the highest concentration of BPA in their urine had significantly larger waists and odds of being obese than those in the lowest quartile. BUY the Berkey system. You will not regret this. EASY to use.

When I saw other reviews saying the filters would stop up or need cleaning to flow effectively, I was a little worried considering the hard water that our house has, but I haven’t noticed any need for it so far. The quality seems good, it works well, the water tastes way better than out of the tap (f*** off chlorine!), and I haven’t had any leaking or any other issues with the plastic spigot. I also don’t see much point in something like a water level spigot either, since you can tell when the water level is low by the water flowing out of the spigot slowing down. Filling it up at that point gives plenty of time for more water to fill the lower tank before I need any more water. I can also tilt the whole thing forward to get a little more water out of the bottom tank if I’m really thirsty at that point. The travel size is really perfect for me and my fiancee, even being at home in quarantine we only have to fill it less than twice a week.

Love my travel Berkeley which is a perfect size for 1 to 2 people. The travel Berkeley size is great for a single person. It was easy to put together and looks attractive on my kitchen counter. The only thing I wish was a little taller is the stand that I ordered I wish I was a little taller but I have it on top of my single cup drawer for coffee and so on and it’s the right height to fit a glass underneath. Since I’ve downsized to a rental I have no icemaker so now I have filtered water to put in my ice trays.

Las Vegas water tastes horrible. I’ve used a Brita for years but it still tastes awful. I saw this and heard you can put pond water in and it’s drinkable. I wondered if this could do the impossible- make Las Vegas water actually taste amazing. I decided to give it a try because I hate buying bottled water. I love that this isn’t plugged into anything and it’s aesthetically pleasing. Anyway, the Berkey has worked like a dream and I love how the water tastes!

Bought the Travel Berkey for a long RV trip, but will also be using it at home which justifies the price. It took a while to set up and I highly recommend buying the priming kit. Stand is not needed in RV because it sits on a narrow ledge is not needed. At home, the filter sits on the stand made for it. It is easier to fill water and use the filter when not on stand, but has to be close to counter edge.Travel Berkey rapidly delivers clear, no taste water — exactly what I hoped. Plan to use this a long time. Using for drinking water, cooking, and filling portable ice maker in RV.Set up first time was a little confusing, but figured out by carefully reviewing photos on instructions. Spigot leaked a little because I did not tighten it enough. Easy fix!

I have a faulty cistern. It produces water good enough to bath and wash clothes, but not to drink or cook. I’ve been buying 8-10 one gallon bottles of water per week for over 10 years. I just got the Berkey travel a few weeks ago. I’ve been drinking clean clear tasty water ever since, and from my faucet instead of plastic bottles. The travel size is just right for me. I fill it up every night before bed and have a day’s worth of great water the next morning. Why did I not know about this a long time ago?

The absolute best filter I’ve ever had. It comes out alkaline and if you add the white flouride filter its even better. I’ve lost 20+ lbs in less than 2 months after getting this. No joke.If I were to order again, I would get the next size up. I believe it is the 2.25 gallon. But either way, this is amazing.

I actually use this instead of the larger one for my regular home use; I am on a well and while the water tastes ok without filter, it clearly tastes much better with the Berkey. I appreciate that this model is light enough to lift the upper portion to check the water level so I know how much to refill. And I like the small footprint on my countertop. I have it sitting right next to my kitchen sink so it is very easy to refill using the retractable hose built into the kitchen faucet.

After living in the French Alps for a year, we were very sensitive to the chlorine added to American water. I knew immediately that I needed to purchase a Berkey. I am so glad I did. The only draw back is the length of time it takes to filter, so make sure you keep an eye out or you’ll be without water for about 2 hours. I only wish I had gotten the bigger one! I have to refill my tank about 2 a day and there is only one and a half persons drinking from this system. (I drink over 124 ounces of water a day).
