These are very sharp pruners, and cut very cleanly. I like the aluminum handles that have the look of wood, but are easy to keep clean and sterilized so I don’t accidentally pass any diseases from one plant to another. I am using this pair of pruners strictly for our indoor fiddle leaf fig trees, so keeping them clean is important. I like the latch the keeps them locked closed, as I can unlock them using either hand. Good pruners that should last a long time.

These are easy to unlock even when wearing gloves, which is important to me. I like the handle design a lot and would recommend for basic cutting. I have cut roses, small tree branches and house plants successfully with these snips.

They kind of look Steampunk, and they seem to have legendary function.Work great, fit great in the hands, and look great.I do note they come with an extra spring, in case you need one.Amazon delivered these overnight, and I got them early morning to finish up a job in time for the landscape guy to come and finish up hauling away the large of amount of branches I just clipped. (I do my own clipping, thanks.)And the sharpness and cutting power is the best I’ve had.Couldn’t ask for more timely delivery or beautifully functioning clippers. Very happy.

A solid pair of pruners are an essential gardening tool to have, regardless of your skill level or frequency of use. There are many to choose from, including multiple sellers for the same product. In my experience, performance & durability are key. These bypass pruners are of good quality at a great value. They are sturdy in their construction but lightweight in use. The blade is very sharp & makes clean cuts. I’m a female with small hands & find these easy to use, even though, they can open wide enough for large hands. I especially like that they have a 1″ cutting capacity, which is hard to find at this price point. Their locking mechanism is simple & secure, as long as, you push the ball up or down “fully”…listen for the click sound to know the ball is properly in place. Overall, I’m definitely pleased with the durability & performance of these pruners. I also love the look of the wood-like finish over the cast aluminum handles. I highly recommend these pruners & this seller.

These shears are really great! I use them in an industrial setting, and they perform better than the expensive set, that these replaced. They are ergonomic for right hand use, and a left hand set would be the only improvement I could ask for. If you are reading this, you are in the market for this kind of product. Do yourself a favor, and purchase it, not only for the fancy wooden handles, but for the quality that you cant find in similar priced items. I’m sure the price will increase, so get a bargain before it does!

I expected these to be pretty good based on the other reviews but I didn’t expect them to be of such excellent quality. Wow, I really love these things! I have small-ish hands and they still fit well and are very comfortable. I was shocked at their weight, they’re heavy; not as in “too heavy” to be a burden, but heavy as in they feel very well made and substantial. They cut like a dream. The faux wood grain is just an added aesthetic bonus that I can’t stop admiring. Ordering on line is always hit or miss but these are a definite hit. I’m thinking of ordering an additional pair just because.

Super sharp.. good grip. extra spring included. I’ve used them on my fig tree, hard roots, vines and my banana tree’s.. they are awesome.. I clean them after each use, dry them good and add a drop of olive oil or 3 in 1 oil to the blades. Great pair of pruners. will last a long time when properly cared for.

I wanted a good quality pruner for my gardening and ran across these. I wasn’t too sure about the wood handles, but I have to say, they looked really good and have a good feel to them. I’ll have to wait and see how they last. The pruners are very sharp right out of the box and have a clever locking mech that you just pull or push with your thumb. Works very easy and does a nice job. I hadn.t see one like this before, but I like it. I’ve used it several time and really like the feel, weight and cutting capability. Highly recommended!

First impression is that they are extremely good! Very sharp yes, but also overall build quality looks excellent. I went ahead and ordered a second one for my sister who has kept her orchids alive for over a month now!The only question mark is that the woodgrain-colored aluminum handle is very smooth, which makes it feel easier to accidentally drop. But it sliced through small 1/4″ apple branches for light pruning with zero effort. Will see if these stand the test of time.

These are the best pruners I have ever owned. So well made and put together, sharp clean cuts, easy to clean after use, and look so much more expensive than they were. They are in fact so good looking a tool, they get cleaned, oiled and wrapped in a soft cloth after every use. A great garden tool
