Great invention. I do acting casting tapes using my iphone and this device lets me mic both the reader and the actor. Quality looks good and the sound quality is great. Great deal two considering the price comes with TWO mics. NOTE – the headphone jack on this device does NOT let you monitor your audio while recording. It is strictly for listening to your audio in playback.

Works great with one or two mics as well as having a great output line to listen after you record on playback.Only thing to watch for, if you are buying for dslr camera you can’t use both mic at the same time. iPhone or iPad it works great with both mics.

I know when I read through the reviews it made me kind of hesitant to buy this item, but I really needed a new mic that would work with my Iphone for podcasts and interviews, so I bought it anyways, and I am so glad that I did! I haven’t had any of the weird things happen that some of the others in the reviews have complained about. There’s no background noises or interference or muffled sounds or anything weird. It’s consistently been just great audio feed! I use them daily for podcasts and several times a week for interviews and have never had a problem. My only complaint would be that one of the mics has a shorter cord than the other and I wish the cords were a bit longer so that you could have a comfortable distance between the two people using the mics (you can sit about 1-2 ft apart without pulling on the mics). But outside of that, they’re awesome and such a steal for the price! Would definitely buy these again if needed and highly recommend them for anyone needing a good mic set!

My son doesn’t always speak loud enough for his teachers to hear him reply to questions or speak in general through the tablets microphone while doing school from home. This was necessary to boost the sound and now there is no problem with anyone hearing him. It has changed our whole distance learning experience and given him the confidence to speak up and be more involved with his zoom meetings.We did need to buy a seperate speaker to hear the class and teacher once we plugged into the tablet but that isn’t Movo’s problem. Just know if that is what you are using this for, the tablet’s speaker will not work once you have plugged in without a separate speaker. This devices does have a connection for said speaker however.All in all a great product and value!

When I was testing the mics, you can immediately tell the difference in the quality sound of the device and also how clear the voice is. I am very analytical about buying so after looking at different reviews I decided to take a try. I’m glad I did. This is a great set of Mics to do videos or interviews with others. I highly recommend this. If you want to use the second mic separately you would want to order a trs to trss converter. The one thing that I would suggest for the manufacture is that they provide a bigger storage bag with the item so that it’s quicker to put away to store. But overall it’s a 5 Star!

Works better than I expected. The cord is long enough to fit beneath the clothing, attach to the lapel of the person speaking into the mic, and out of view within the frame of an iPhone video recording. I was looking for a practical, quick solution for impromptu testimonials from patients in our clinic , and this is VERY easy to set up (within 1 minute). Having a dual microphone set up is crucial when you are recording an interview in a public area, and need to filter out background noise to hear recorded dialogue clearly. Also allows for the person being interviewed to speak in their normal natural tone, without the concern of their own audio not being picked up by the recording device (Smartphone/DSLR camera)A suggestion: invest in a cord organizer, or a gadget that allows you to wrap the cord around for storage. It will fit into the small cloth case better, and it is easier to unravel when you are ready to use it.

I bought this lav mic for better sound quality for my Mevo camera. I do Facebook live videos for my business every week and the only thing I needed was better sound quality than the built in. Especially for the price, you get great sound quality. I use it plugged into my iPad Pro and the Mevo takes the sound from there. It’s a simple plug and play and worked like a dream. I love the two mics and couldn’t ask for a better set up!

First, allow me to clear what seems to be a common misconception with the product. The main mic with the extra sockets will only work in a cellphone or a device which combines headphones and microphone into one jack. The optional use mic will not work in a cellphone on its own, but will work in a microphone jack of a computer. Both of these microphones can work interchangeably with the purchase of both a TRS > TRRS adapter and a TRRS > TRS adapter. The TRS > TRRS would go on the independent mic to allow it to plug directly into the cellphone while the TRRS > TRS adapter would allow the same for the base mic. This particular situation may be useful for micing two people to the same audio input channel of a more traditional system (or using two mics on the same speaker for redundancy and such).As for the mics themselves they work tremendously with either my recording setup or my cellphone. The native android camera app as of 6/21/2017 will not recognize this external microphone, however the app “Open Camera” does work with the setup rather well. Being omni-directional, they’re going to pickup some background unless you condition your audio, but the clarity is quite good. All in all, great product for the price point.

These are great. I got them to use with a friend to record a podcast. We were starting out for the first time and wanted something cheaper but that would produce good quality. These gave us more quality than I expected. Length of chords is good for sitting apart a table.

I use this mic setup to record interviews at trade shows and events as well as recording videos for social media. The audio quality is simply amazing for the cost. It dramatically cuts the wind noise and the audio is crystal clear. This really allows you to back up away from the camera to get some better framing for the shot and still have high quality audio. It may not be as elegant as a wireless mic setup, but the simplicity and reliability far outweighs that negative.I have recommended this mic to all my friends when they ask what mic I suggest for recording offsite and I will continue to recommend this one. If you’re recording just audio into your phone, make sure that you’re using an application that records high quality audio at a high bit rate. If you don’t use an app that supports those features then your audio will be lacking, but it won’t be due to the mic.
