Kilimanjaro 24 Inch Machete BM24 – Serrated Back – 910039: Sports & Outdoors

I have purchased two of these. Main use was for landscaping, vines, weeds, etc. Wanted D ring handle for safety, hard to lose grip or have slide out of your hand, protects hand from being hit by branches etc.Pros: Good price, D ring handle, sawback spine can do some decent sawing, handle is a sticky type.plastic that gives good grip, blade is thick metal.Cons: Sheath could be better, belt loop is ok thickness, but velcro to secure is poor quality, scabbard part is nylon with thin plastic liner, wont hold.up to hard use.Overall, due to quality of the machete itself, and the low price and good grip with D style handle, I give it a 5 and would get another.

I took down a huge Century Plant to the ground in about 15 minutes. I was whaled on that thing and it cut through it like butter. More that a few times I struck rocks and pavers and it took some nicks, but didn’t warp, crack, dull or break.If your removing cacti or just need something for the zombie apocalypse, this is your tool.
