I have always wanted to learn how to play the flute. After reading the reviews I decided to get this one. I think it sounds great and it comes nicely packaged. I have learned a lot so far and I am very happy with it. However, yesterday I was trying to play and one of the keys is not closing tightly (I would need to press it harder) and now it sounds a bit odd.I would appreciate it if the seller could recommend me a place to repair it or if I can change it somehow for another flute. Thanks!

My daughter needed a new flute quick and we wanted something to last a bit but not too expensive so this one came and she says it feels great and sounds amazing. Her band teacher says it is a nice intermediate instrument.

A great instrument to revive my flute playing after 50 years! The price was unbelievably good. The rest is up to me…

When I first ordered this flute, I was thinking, “How well can it play if it’s only $45?” Well, I’ve been playing finite for 27 years and this flute sounds just as good as any top name brand beginner instrument. I don’t know about repairs and if they can be done or not, as I’ve had no issues with mine. I play this one in church every Sunday as well as in our community band and not a single person has questioned the quality. I’m glad I took the rishi and purchased this. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone else.

Outstanding customer service. We had an issue with our first flute (purchased in 2020) and after reaching out to the company they quickly corrected the problem. I waited to do the review intentionally to see how the replacement flute held up. I wasn’t so sure early on with regards to quality. But I am very pleased with this purchase and the customer service. It has been over a year now and the flute is working just fine. I have no complaints. I would purchase again and recommend to others.

2/24/20 Further Update: Kaizer expeditiously sent me a replacement flute with a prepaid shipping label for the return. All my previous negative comments about the company have been corrected. I can now confidently give them a five star rating and recommend them to others. Slip-ups can happen in any manufacturing process but as long as the company makes them good a few can be overlooked. Also, my grandson is happy.2/14/20 Update: I finally received a reply to my email to Kaizer. In it they say they will replace the flute. Therefore I raised the rating to 4 stars. Depending on what happens next, I’ll consider raising it to 5 stars. I bought this flute for my grandson who’s in seventh grade Beginning Band. He’s never played a musical instrument before. For a few months he’s had trouble playing two or three selected notes, but his teacher thought it was just a beginner’s inexperience. Recently the teacher took a close look at the flute and found that two of the keys weren’t properly sealing the holes under them. It appears to me they weren’t properly installed when the flute was assembled.Included with the flute is a brochure from Kaizer talking about their “Good Faith Policy” warranty and saying that they “use good faith and common sense to determine what we can and cannot cover.” Thinking they meant what they said, I followed their instructions and sent an email, with pictures attached, requesting instructions for obtaining warranty service. After receiving no response for a week, I called the phone number listed in their contact information. No one answered the call, so I left a voice mail describing the problem and asking that someone contact me. That was 5 days ago and I still haven’t received the courtesy of a response. If you value your money, I strongly suggest you do not purchase anything from Kaizer. They make an inferior product, ship defective instruments, fail to honor their lifetime limited warranty, and provide zero customer service. If that’s what you want, go ahead, but based on my experience, you’ll be sorry.

I was looking for a travel flute to replace old bet Armstrong student model. Found this and have been really happy with it. It is very well made, keys like a more expensive instrument, dead on for tuning and requires only light air. Came with a quality case as well. Hard to do better.
