Very nice grill. The burner is very adjustable so it works well for many items.
LUCK –
Bought this grill many months ago – finally got to give it a try on our first spring camping trip. And we love it!The grill is compact and self-contained – everything has place to snap into for travel. It’s perfect for a two-person camping trip or tailgating. Or it can be one of multiple grills for larger groups. It uses standard propane gas tanks – easy to buy at Wal Mart or any other nearby store that sells such equipment. Most other stoves and heaters can also use propane tanks. It’s nice to have one fuel source for everything (rather than butane for some things, and propane for others). It is heavy and seems very rugged. We’ve only just started to use it, but I think it will last a very long time. Our friends had a very new looking single-burner stove that used butane – and they were already having problems with it.The only downsides:(1) It’s weight – because it includes a cast iron skillet, it’s going to be heavier than others. It does, however, have to built in handles that make moving it around easy. It’s not for backpacking, but it’s great for car camping, glamping and tailgate parties.(2) It’s size – it’s only a single burner. The burner is more than capable, however. We brought a very large pot of water to a boil. But after camping with friends, we’re wondering if we should purchase a second one so we can host larger cookouts. If you get it for the right purpose, those downsides aren’t downsides at all. Highly recommended.

This is a very versatile little grill. We needed a very small one for our tiny trailer. I love that this has cast iron surfaces which makes it sturdier and provides more even cooking. I have used the flat side for making grilled cheese and frying veggies and the grill side for grilled meats. Then the open flame pot holder allows you to heat up a kettle or coffee pot. It is small, so it won’t feed the hordes, but it’s big enough for one or two. It does take a bit longer to heat up the surfaces because they’re heavier. But it’s not cheap material. I find the cleanup to be superior. The base comes off for washing in the sink and you can even add water to it while cooking to make cleanup even easier. My old Road Trip grill had that feature and I have missed it. I’m really glad I bought this grill. There is a cover but not a carry case. It’s got handles, not a bag carrier would be a good addition.

The grill worked really well overall, made awesome pancakes too. Easy to flip the surface over and works well as a stove as well without the grill surfaces. It heats up quickly and evenly. Super easy to clean once you have seasoned the cast iron. The starter is not reliable though, we had to start it up with a lighter a few times.

I wanted a small gas grill, and this was exactly what I was hoping for. I was able to fit more on it than I expected. I would agree that it’s more like cooking on a cast iron pan than a grill, but I prefer that and love that I can flip the grate over. It’s well constructed and easy to set up.

Love the design and the grill/stove capability. Need to watch the quality control- the knob on the first unit I ordered broke off while trying to light for the first time. The second one has been fine thus far.
