I am really impressed on the quality of this. Everything from the handle, full tang, sharpness, this thing is a dam beast. There are a lot of machetes out there but nothing on the market like this for $35. Someone really thought this one through, consider it you wont be disappointed.

I submitted a return for this, because the blade wasn’t razor sharp. But, since I was outside playing with my daughter, I decided to torture test it. To my surprise, this machéte destroyed everything I used it on, including a 4_in diameter hardwood branch. Afterwards, the blade is still straight as an arrow, with just a few barely noticeable nicks. The digging point works incredibly well. You wouldn’t need a shovel on a camping trip. The saw works relatively well. It’s just tough going because the handle is made for chopping on the blade side. Make no mistake, this isn’t a jungle machéte. It’s made for camping in North American hardwoods & pine forests. So far, it excels at its intended use. The small knife in the handle sheath is nice for opening beers! I’m sure it would work well as a spear tip. I opened up the paracord and looped the small knife rear opening to the full tang rear of the machéte. Time will tell if the little knife cuts through the rubber handle. If so, I’ll update the review. I’ll also update the more I use it.The sheath and retention straps are superb. Hopefully the rivets are decent quality. I had to return the 1st order, because the package was busted, and the sheath hard plastic was cracked. The package was still busted on my replacement, but the sheath was okay.All I need now is a way to sharpen this tough, titanium bonded stainless steel.

I love the size and weight of this knife. The handle feels very good, its easy to hold and doesn’t wear on me at the end a day chopping. I’ve cut down trees and used it building a bush shelter and its great. No bends, breaks etc. I did get a slight chip once when I hit a big rock, but re-profiling that area was easy as was sharpening (I used a belt sander).Probly the only negative thing I would say about this knife is that I Suspect that “Titanium Bonded” Is just a phrase that they have trade marked. I sort of doubt that any TI is used to make this blade. I was not expecting it to be but it seems like floofy marketing.Would definitely recommend to a friend.

This baby feels good in my hands and is rock solid. I’ve been abusing it cutting my way through thick woods and it does the job slicing thru whatever is in my way.

Helped me clear some serious vegetation growth on the property behind my house. Awesome design. If you can’t cut it with a couple of whacks of the blade, the super sharp serrated edge goes through easily. Had to cut some sod and this was awesome for that as well.

I have not tried this out, It has a decent edge on it so i was able to sharpen it with my belt. Useful multipurpose tool to have, nice kydex sheath and the small blade fits into a slot at the handle snugly, saw blades are sharp. My husband likes it.
