If you are looking for a quality built dehydrator that is a extremely quiet machine, then put this one in your buggy! Easy to setup and use. Packaged very well. No damage. To start… Place your prepared fruit/veggies/meats/herbs/flowers etc on the stainless steel racks (6) and set the time and temp and walk away…you can open the door at any time to turn things if you want and/ or see it all thru the glass door. The timer shows the remaining time left and the temperature you set. Nice feature. I figured it would be stuffed in a closet, and not allowed to sit out when not using….but it seriously looks like a mini oven and not big and chunky. Sleek. Yet, amazingly holds a lot of items. Nice addition to use every day. Loved the cookbook that came with it. Very detailed. A section to let you know precisely what temp and time to use for things you are drying. Quality product. Don’t hesitate to buy. Shipping was so fast I wasn’t prepared to start dehydrating, so I sent the hubby to the store. HeheI would suggest to buy more liners for smaller items or use parchment cut to size, not wax paper.Quality product, fast shipping, easy to use, large capacity, QUIET, nice sleek design, and free items…why would you keep looking?

I really like this dehydrator, beginning with the loquats, mulberries, lemons, oranges, and flowers. The machine is quiet, the stainless steel meshes are easy to clean. I only wish there is smaller grid of stainless mesh available for purchase, because I don’t like use plastic for drying the food which’s I am going to eat it later. I want to dry goji berries and loquat seeds. Overall this is a good dehydrator, and I am drying a lot of fruits, it taste pretty good, didn’t lose flavor.

I looked up and down for the right dehydrator and settled on this one.I love the looks and the ease of use.The ease of use is amazing, set the temp, set the time and forget about it until it’s done.I have made quite a lot of jerky, both using hamburger and meat -(even made cat fish jerky) along with banana and apple chips -(tip for them sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on them, they go fast)For really easy cleaning I put tinfoil on the bottom to catch the drips. The best part is saving money on jerky and it’s better for you than store bought.Get it you well not be disappointed.

I have been wanting a decent dehydrator for a long time. I bought a few over the years. I kept trying to find a cheap way to do it. The first one literally melted itself after 2 uses. The second one couldn’t properly dry a wet peice of paper. The third one was extremely loud and only lasted a few months before it stopped working. All together I could have bought 2 of these with the money I wasted. That being said I’m thrilled with this dehydrator. I use it for making fruit leather, dehydrating herbs, fruits, meats as well as drying my cookies after they have been iced to get that perfect sheen and spees up dry times. This fits about 5 lbs of beef jerky at one time. It’s very easy to clean inside and out. I just soak the grates or plastics after using them and they come clean easily with a brush. I purchased some additional trays for fruit leather as this only comes with two. There’s no cheaper way to do it. You do best to buy the original ones from the maker of the machine. It is very quiet and you can set it and forget it. It will shut off after the timer goes off. I can never leave anything on when I’m sleeping. That has more to do with me than the machine, as I’m just uncomfortable doing it. However I haven’t had any issues that would make me think I couldn’t. It holds the temperature very accurately. I used my thermopro wireless smoking thermometer and set it to alarm me if the temp dropped or went above the set temp more than 2°. After 6 hours of use it never decreased or increased more than 2°. I did place the thermometer at different levels throughout to see if there were any variations throughout. There were no temperature issues at any level. All in all I’m extremely happy with this machine. My only regret is that it took me so long to buy it.

This unit is easy to use and I like that the temperature can be changed in 1 degree increments. I would also say this unit is very quiet. I have it in the other room but my old Nesco could be heard but not this one. I keep the plastic tray it comes with on the bottom for easy clean up. The wire trays also clean up easily. Just give it as quick soak and if you have a brush type dish cleaner, it’s a breeze… or just stick them in the dishwasher!I mainly purchased it to make beef jerky for us and treats for the dogs. I am satisfied with this unit and I recommend this dehydrator for anyone looking for something that has a wide range of temperature, time and is priced well.

I have only used my stainless steel dehydrator 2x to dehydrate my favorite year round snack, dried strawberries. This replaced an older plastic round dehydrator. That one took 6 hrs to dry my berries, The new Cosori took just under 3 hrs! I love the fact that it is stainless steel, has stainless trays, not plastic. I took a class on dehydrating foods. The instructor stated that square machines were better to use than round. Of course getting rid of plastics was good too! I read thru all the reviews of a variety of dehydrators on the market & selected the Cosori based on other comments. It concerns me somewhat that some reviewers state that this machine gives out after just a few rounds of dehydrating. Keeping my fingers crossed that I will have this machine for many years of good use, as was with my old plastic one. At least the metal trays won’t break apart.

Ok if you are an avid researcher like I am before purchasing many of the review videos I found from people given the cosori to review are just really weak. So ignore all of them as none I have seen know how to properly do a review. The Dehydrator is my 4th different one I have owned and hands down the best to date.Low noise, even temperature distribution, great airflow, easy to clean, easy to use, and the list goes on and on.The way it works (at least mine) If I have it set at 145F it will heat up to 150F then the heating element kicks off until it hits 140F then it kicks back on. You may see it sometimes hit 152F before it starts to cool and drop to 138F before the heating element heats back up. Typically though +/- 5F from your set temperature as it runs. This is not a problem as I have done Strawberries, Kiwi, Pineapple, Apples, Bananas, Raspberries, Blueberries, Blackberries, Fruit Rollups, Salmon Jerky, Beef Jerky and at all temps it is consistently accurate.I know I will be using it a lot (12th batch is going now) so I purchased the extended warranty as there is so much unreliable stuff out there. This so far has proven to be nothing but reliable. (BTW if you register the product with COSORI withing 2 weeks of purchase you get an extra year added onto your default 1 year warranty making it 2 years!)I seen some reviews where people got a bad unit (display or electronics) That stuff happens especially nowadays. My unit however works great and I am not sure I would even give it up for a 10 tray excalibur model. If I had a single thing I did not like it would be the amount of plastic trays and sheets that came with it. When I use mine I want to maximize the space (energy efficiency) So 1 Tray and 1 Screen don’t cut it. Be sure to order more (you want 7 trays and 6 mesh screens *1 tray for the bottom to collect and drips makes cleaning easier)

This is the perfect machine for me! I read a lot about dehydrators before buying and I’m so glad I purchased this one. It is lightweight stainless it has 6 shelves with a timer and is so quiet. It has a clear door on front so you can see what’s happening. I’ve made jerky in it and the six shelves is a suficent size for 3 and 1/2 to 4 lbs of meat. You can control the temperature and time and it has all the features I wanted. I’m so happy with this product. I read about Excalibur but my refrain from buying was the noise I read in reviews. That was important and this one is so quiet you don’t always hear it. It also cleans up,great and doesn’t give off strong smells or retain them after cleaning. I just love this machine and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a good reliable dehydrator!

My husband has been wanting a dehydrator for a long time to make turkey and beef jerky. Beef and turkey jerky is very expensive, but with the Cosori, jerky becomes affordable. For a first run, we made apples with cinnamon, bananas and strawberries. The apples got the best reviews but all were delicious. We set the digital temperature to 135 degrees for 8 hours. When we first opened the unit, the apples were not done yet, so we added another hour and they were perfect. The Cosori comes with an instruction booklet and a recipe book for jerkies, fruits, snacks, and sweets. Some of the tantalizing recipes include Balsamic Mustard Beef Jerkey,, Thai Curry Jerky, Smoked Salmon Jerky, Honey Bourbon Peaches, Red Berry Fruit Leather, Garlic Kale chips, Sweet and spicy almonds and Almond craisins cookies. In addition to the great recipes, Cosori has an 800 number for their in-house chefs to answer any questions. This dehydrator is on the higher side price wise as you can buy plastic units for much less, but the build quality and large capacity make this a worthwhile investment.

I couldn’t be happier. I got this to make sweet potatoe snacks for my dogs and fruit snacks for myself to save money from buying expensive dehydrated snacks all of the time. It will pay for itself within 2 months easily. Very simple and straightforward to use. Cooking suggestion times and temp pamphlet is amazing. Keep an eye on it the first few times you use it. You will have different results depending on thickness of cut … I am in love with it though …. great value
